About Modern Virtual Staging

Modern interior design celebrates natural materials and neutral or earthy colors. It’s inspired by the Scandinavian and German minimalist style and the elimination of unnecessary detailing.

Modern design refers to a historical aesthetic movement that originated in the early to mid-twentieth century. And later derivatives of this interior design are the mid-century modern and postmodern styles.

Still to this day, this popular design style continues to inspire contemporary interior designers like Rafael de Cardenas and David Hicks.

Because modern interiors grew out of the modern art movement, rejecting the maximalist tendencies of Victorian design, the dominant style of this era is characterized by clean lines, wide, low-set furniture, materials that include metal, glass and steel, and a simple color palette.

So, instead of Victorian features such as arches, window shutters, ornate columns, or any outlandish ornamentation, it emphasizes geometric shapes and clean lines.
