Distributed Real Estate Photo Editing

PhotoUp offers two different types of editing; Distributed Editing and Dedicated Editing

Distributed Editing – Your batches are assigned to editors based on your shooting style, editing requests, and past ratings. The more you rate an editor as “Looks Amazing” or “Looks Good”, the more frequently those editors will be assigned to your edits. If you rate an editor as “Looks Okay” or “Looks Terrible”, those editors will be less likely to receive your edits in the future.

Dedicated Editing – Choose to work directly with one of our editors on a daily basis. Select your Dedicated Editor(s) based on your previous ratings or upload a Dedicated Editor Trial batch to find your favorite editor. Your Dedicated Editor is 100% dedicated to your account and you’ll be able to communicate with them directly during their shift.

PhotoUp has two different payment options:

On Demand – Pay $1.60 per credit and use those credits to pay for photo editing or virtual staging services. The number of credits per image is based on your shooting/editing style. For example:

• Single Shot – 1 Credit
• HDR – 1.25 Credits
• Flambient – 1.5 Credits
• Virtual Staging – 20 Credits

Subscription & Credit Packs – Pay for one of our monthly or annual subscriptions and receive access to our credit packs (see below).

Credit Packs

• 100 Credits for $1.30/Credit ($130)
• 500 Credits for $1.20/Credit ($600)
• 1,000 Credits for $1.10/Credit ($1,150)

Subscription Software

All subscriptions have the ability to add additional users and include a number of Single Property Websites, Virtual Tours, Home Flyers, and Rush Orders per month.

Yes! PhotoUp members who remain on a subscription plan will automatically rollover 100% of their unused credits each month. Credits will continue to rollover month over month and remain in your rollover balance as long as you don’t downgrade to an On Demand account.

Having accurate turnaround times is important to PhotoUp and our clients. Every PhotoUp member will receive standard 24 hour turnaround on all images. There is also the ability to Rush batches based on the following Rush options:

• 12 Hour Rush = + 1/2 credit per image
• 15 Hour Rush = + 3/8 credit per image
• 18 Hour Rush = + 1/4 credit per image

PhotoUp offers Rushes at a small fee to add to batches that need to be edited ASAP. Our Rush options include:

• 18 Hour Rush – ¼ credit per image
• 15 Hour Rush – ⅜ credit per image
• 12 Hour Rush – ½ credit per image

Yes, all clients are able to request unlimited free revisions for up to 4 days after photos have been delivered. Please make sure to rate your batch accordingly and send appropriate feedback when requesting revisions.

Yes! We have a Dedicated Editor program that allows you to work directly with a member of our editing team. Your Dedicated Editor is 100% dedicated to your account and you’ll be able to communicate with them directly during their shift.

At PhotoUp we offer you three free export options in our uploader allowing you to have your files delivered at full size, high res, web res, and with or without a watermark.

We also offer three file options:

JPG 70 is a slightly more compressed version of a normal JPG. It is perfectly fine for all web use and most print use.

JPG 100 is as uncompressed as a JPG file can be, meaning it is both larger in size and contains more data. Choose this file type if you want a higher quality image for larger prints or if you wish to do any additional editing to your images after you receive them back from us.

TIFF files are uncompressed images, containing all the data from all levels of editing that has been done. This is the file type you should select if you want the maximum amount of flexibility for future editing.

At PhotoUp, we use the following software when editing your images:

• Adobe Photoshop
• Adobe Lightroom
• LR/Enfuse

You will be required to use the PhotoUp system for uploading if you are on one of our Monthly Subscription plans or on a On Demand plan.

If you hire a Dedicated Editor, you can choose any system you like to upload photos directly to your editor.

The most common real estate photo editing style is HDR (ambient brackets blended together using an HDR software such as Lightroom Enfuse).

However, in recent years, we have seen a large number of photographers moving to the “Flambient” shooting and editing style.
