For the month of June, the team in the Philippines chose to do their Community Impact Project in Barangay Gabi in Cordova, Cebu. Since the typhoons there were a huge loss on agriculture, because of our program we were able to plant 20 Jackfruit trees which helped the community by not only beautifying the area, it also provides shade for the pedestrians, helps clean the air and also provide livelihood opportunities.

It was really a team effort, from the US/Canada team and the Philippines team. Almost all of the Philippine team were able to spare some time on their weekend to participate on the activity. We thought the activity was fun, productive and it also helps us become united as a company.

We are very proud to be working in an awesome company like PhotoUp! On behalf of the team here in the Philippines, we would like to say thank you and we hope one day you’ll visit the Philippines to witness it first hand.

More power!
